Questions, answered
Will I get caught?
We use the exact same web API calls your browser makes, so activity looks like normal usage. Be honest with yourself, though: automating presence may go against Slack's Terms of Service, and this is a gray area. We keep your tokens encrypted and never share them.
Where do my tokens go?
They're encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and only decrypted momentarily to update your status. They're never logged or shown again after you save them.
Do I need to keep my computer on?
No. Everything runs in our cloud on the schedule you set.
What happens when I log out of Slack?
Session tokens expire when you sign out of Slack. If that happens, just reconnect the workspace with fresh tokens.
